Salat (also salah, namaz, solat, solah, solaat, solaah, salaat, namaaz, shalat and other spellings) (or to bless, generally refers to prayers that Muslims offer to God (Arabic:Allah) and most commonly refers to the five daily ritual prayers in Islam. Adhan (Azaan, athan, adzan, ezan, adzaan, ezen, azan and other spellings) is the Islamic call to prayer, recited by the muezzin.
